Every Auralis Zirconia disc belongs to one of three tiers. Choose by where the restoration sits — and by how much light it needs to let through.
The light tier. 49% translucency for restorations that live in the smile line — veneers, inlays and anterior crowns, where light matters more than load.
The gradient tier. Six layers shift from a 46% cervical base to a 57% incisal peak, strength graded in reverse from 1050 to 700 MPa — one disc, no staining liquid needed before sintering, no guesswork. The Flash variant sinters in just 40 minutes.
The strength tier. 1200 MPa for the posterior load zone — long-span bridges, frameworks and copings that carry the bite, so Lumen and Multi don't have to.

In a Multi disc, opacity and strength live at the cervical end; translucency rises toward the incisal edge. The gradient is built into the powder itself — pressed, not painted — so it survives milling, sintering and years in the mouth.
Two different ways of carrying light: Lumen holds 49% translucency uniformly through the whole disc, while in a Multi disc the 57% maximum is a local value, reached only at the incisal end of the gradient.

Pre-shaded in the disc to the VITA® classical scale, plus a three-step bleach range. Multi discs carry the shade through every layer — cervical chroma to incisal light.

Flash cycles require an Auralis Sinter high-speed furnace with MoSi₂ elements. Full firing curves ship with every disc.
The yttria content sets the balance between strength and translucency. 3Y-TZP (Auralis Forte) is the strongest and suits long-span bridges; 4Y-PSZ (Multi) balances both for everyday crowns and bridges; 5Y-PSZ (Lumen) is the most translucent and shines in anterior veneers and crowns.
For a single posterior crown, Multi gives a natural gradient with ample strength. For bridges of four units or more — especially with distal extensions — choose Forte and follow the connector cross-section guidance in the tier table.
Yes. Discs follow standard sintering profiles at 1450–1530 °C; any furnace that can run the recommended curve can fire them. The full curve chart ships with every disc and is available from our team on request.
The flash program is intended for light loads such as single crowns and short bridges. Run within the stated load limits, fired restorations meet the same tier specifications; for heavy loads or long bridges we recommend the standard cycle.
